Criminal defense attorneys in high-profile cases involving heinous acts often take the heat for their clients' alleged crimes. It's a high-pressure job that sometimes entails death threats, bomb scares, harassment of their children and alienation from friends, colleagues and society. And acquittals in such cases are rare.
