Florida Teen's Advocates Lash Judge

The attorney for a black 19-year-old Broward resident jailed by Broward Circuit Judge Eileen O'Connor because he allegedly lied about his arrest history during jury selection stepped up the pressure Monday for O'Connor to step down from the criminal bench.

"Time is of the essence," the lawyer, Bill Gelin, said at a press conference Monday at the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale. "Put yourself in the position of an African-American defendant. You may already think the system is stacked against you to begin with, and you read in the newspapers that the judge has not disclosed" a racial complaint filed against her on a judicial application.

His client, Stacey Forbes, said: "She sent me to jail for the same thing she'd done. She should be removed. That would be fair."

dear janet i wish you the very best in your appeal to help the young man who was brain- injured by zoloft- i know from personal experience-i was myself horribly victimized by the medical/ psych system-who treated my sleep apnea related mental problems with their poisons-this making me suicidal-i wish someone would listen to me- so i could warn others--how many people are incarcerated and medicated because their hypoxic/acidotic lifestyles greatly influenced their criminal behavior.Now with my bipap machine-my bp and pulse are normal-tiredness-agitation-mood swings-depression-chronic pain--all gone in a matter of a few days oxygen therapy during sleep.There are many millions of people uneducated-including doctors-without financial interest in sleep science,Drug companies lose money from sleep apnea treatment-i took a drug since age 20-to control my blood pressure-now at age 40--im off the drugs-and hope to avoid all the organ damage drugs do to you.im devoted to natural medicine and sharing my sleep apnea story-it was diagnosed by a doc who saw me sleeping in the hosp after my son was born-he could hear the snoring from outside in the hallway. 80% of hypoxia sufferers dont know they have a problem-it has been called -slow creeping brain death-you can google for that article and be amazed that its not being shouted from the hilltops for bed-room partners to watch for apnea behavior-drug companies prefer their way-lunesta. this leads to more drugs for ,depression,rapid heartbeat high bp,cva,a host of mult system failure treatments.i had to take matters into my own hands -these anti-depressants-anti-psychotic's meds nearly killed me- i find it hard to function with my memory-yrs later, i have been a bedside nurse for 17yrs.i take great pains to function in a professional manner,i pray you will find justice for this young man-i know from personal experience how these drugs can twist your mind like any hallucenigenic drug-no cool visuals but the psychosis is very real-the inhibition centers in your brain feel lifted in this false neuronic happiness-chemicals no one should mess with cause unpredictible results in behavior-why is it such a news flash that a good kid became a killer when his brain chemicals were altered-or that i had a real problem with agitation in my life from lack of oxygen.The drug companies control policy,physician education,and the health economy of our nation-therefore this young man has little hope of exoneration.Skull and bones in govt and corporations run things the way of their grand-daddies,the leaders in the opium trade-of the day-they are still helping others with drugs,the truth is bad for profits,..peace be with you----
