Judge Dismisses Lawyer's Loud-Music Lawsuit Against John Fogerty

"A Manhattan judge has turned a deaf ear to a lawyer's complaint that he suffered hearing damage because of an 'unreasonably loud' rock concert by singer and songwriter John Fogerty, formerly of Creedence Clearwater Revival. State Supreme Court Justice Martin Schoenfeld dismissed a lawsuit that had been filed by Jeffrey Powell, 56, saying Powell assumed the risk of hearing damage when he attended the concert," the AP reports here.

I do think it's time to begin regulating concert volumes. we have the technology to do so. Since warning signs do not excuse negligence, sound persons should have the proper training to do the job properly and keep people safe from hearing damages. When I enter a concert I think it unfair that I assume the damages, the reason, because I paid for the addmision ticket, I paid to hear music,I did not pay to have tinnitus for the rest of my life. club owners need to start taking responsibilty for the moronic zipperheds they hire to do sound if the moronic zipperheds can't do it properly than they should have to use specialized instruments do adjust the frequencies for them. it could be as easy as using a electric guitar tuner and most of these losers have one of these next to their cum sock on their bedroom floor right next to their gibson les paul and photos of axl roses ass.
